TRANSDUCER PESC3B

Principle / Application

The PESC 3B transducerSee definition of : Transducer is an electro-dynamic transducerSee definition of : Transducer to be used in underwater acoustics. Despite low bulk its size allows it to produce high amplitude sonic pressure at low frequencies and across a wide range of frequencies. It is used in association with a compensation vessel.

Acoustic Characteristics
Operating Frequencies

from 30 to 2000 Hz

Sound level

> 160 dB Réf. ЦPa at 1 metre

Diagram of bearing activity

omnidirectional  ± 1 dB for F <1000 Hz and ± 2 dB >1000Hz

Electrical Characteristics

Maximum efficient voltage  (submerged transducer )

10 A eff

Options :
The transducer can be fitted in series :
- with an accelerometre to copy head movement
- With a differential pressure sensor enabling pressure monitoring
- With a pressure sensor enabling submersion control
