« Acoustically mark an object or an underwater site, so as to be able to locate it »
The marker is a system that emits ultra-sonic waves continuously and at a given frequency, fixed on the object or site to be located. The recurrence as well as the duration of the emission is constant.
The acoustic marker is composed of : - An acoustic head - A hydrostatic sensor enabling automatic activation in relation to immersion level - Adapted electronics - Battery container.
Applications
- Oceanography - Marine transport - Dredging - Seismology - Offshore - Following polluting spills, etc.
Advantages
- Easy to use - Sturdy - Low purchase cost
