Principle / Application

The acoustic transponder

is a piece of equipment developed to be installed aboard an A.U.V* or R.O.V* type mobile underwater vessel, or on a fixed underwater installation, enabling the positioning of the structure on which it is located to be given when it is requested.

A U.V* : Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle
R.O.V* : Remotely Operated Vehicle
